Product Review: English Leather Mustache Wax
TuneUp HQ recently received a package of English Leather Mustache Wax and like any diligent connoisseur, we happily applied. As far as facial hair care products are concerned, mustache wax is a necessity for the Dali-inspired horizontal, pirate curl, and basic taming of follicles. In its sleek jumbo-chap stick cylinder, English Leather fits surprisingly well in your leather vest pocket, skullcap, or handgun holster. The stick is easy to apply and provided a non-sticky, non-greasy hold. There were mixed feelings about the aroma. Opinions ranged from “laundered leather” to hints of “rotten sunflowers” to “pure testosterone”. The treatment of the wax itself is an art form, and for some of the first-timers there were a great deal of stache-icles from over-application. However, the sheer presence of English Leather’s mustache wax enthused those upper-lip hairs to not only keep shape and structure, but was the catalyst for nobler sculpting.
