You might have noticed that we recently added a Twitter widget as the latest and greatest to Tuniverse. Oh, you didn’t? Visit the Tuniverse tab in TuneUp and scroll down. Got it now? Great.
Listening to a song that you forgot you love? You can now tweet it right from TuneUp. Want to tweet every song on your Summer of Love playlist, you can do that too.
A couple of notes & highlights about this new feature:
- Manual Tweeting – Tweet about what’s playing in iTunes at that very moment, with the click of a button
- AutoTweet – Tweet every song, album or artist change (you can adjust these setting with “Options”) for as long as TuneUp is open
- About Commenting – You can add a short text to the song you tweet out. By default, each tweet will include #listeningto, the artist & track name of the song, and a short TuneUp URL. As such, the character limit will change with each song, so it’s best to keep it brief
This is version 1.0, so there are many, many more enhancements to this feature in the time to come…
