TuneUp for Mac Issue

Due to a recently discovered bug in TuneUp 1.5.9 for Mac, you may be required to re-enter your login and activation information every time you open TuneUp. This is a known bug that is being addressed with the next version of TuneUp.

To avoid having to log in manually on every launch of TuneUp, please follow these instructions:

  • Quit out of iTunes and TuneUp
  • Open up the “Finder”
  • Navigate to: Home Folder > Library > Preferences > TuneUpMediaPreferences
  • Delete the following two files: “TuneUpAppSettings.xml” and “TuneUpAppPreferences.xml”
  • Reopen iTunes and TuneUp

You’ll be asked to login and reactivate one final time, but future TuneUp relaunches should automatically log you in and keep you activated. Please let us know if you have any further problems :) Thanks!
