Tip #9: Batten the Hatches – Let’s Dock to Windows Media Player!

In light of TuneUp’s recent launch for Windows Media Player, today’s tip will focus on setting up and using TuneUp with Windows Media Player.

First things first, you’re going to want to launch TuneUp, which will automatically launch iTunes if it’s installed on your computer. Click on TuneUp then click on preferences (click the three dots). Under the “Main” tab, you’re going to click the dropdown menu called “Dock TuneUp with” and select “Windows Media Player.”

Next, you’re going to open Windows Media Player, click the “View” tab, then select “Plug-ins,” then “select other”, then choose TuneUp. Now that TuneUp is enabled as a plug-in for Windows Media Player, the only thing left to do is to use it.

To clean music while using Windows Media Player, simply select the songs you want to clean, then right-click and select “send to” and then click TuneUp, and you’re ready to start cleaning your Windows Media Player music library.
