Rifling around the Internet today, we found this awesome supplement by The Boston Phoenix. The adventurous crew sought to find the top 50 bands in all 50 states – well, 51: “plus one from that noted yet stateless hive of scum and villainy, the District of Columbia.” (Their words, not ours!) So take some time to click through America and give a listen to some of the very serious tunage coming out of the cornfields, cities and countryside. We recommend: Pennsylvania, Maryland, Oregon, and Kentucky. Honestly, this might be the best way to schedule your summer concert experiences… just wait until all 51 of these awesome acts come to town. Should keep you pretty busy.
