Here at TuneUp, we hate stragglers. Whether you’re on an adventure with friends, meandering through airport security, or running from a pack of rabid dogs – being left behind just sucks. The same applies to your music. If you’re cleaning a whole album, but TuneUp has placed one track under the wrong album, not only will your music collection lack perfection, but that song will feel totally left out (we like anthropomorphizing). To remedy this issue, and make sure that no track is left behind, we’ve made it possible to Normalize Results.
The basics of Normalizing Results are very simple: if a track is not included in an album that you’re cleaning (when you click the expand arrow next to the album, a grey track indicates that it’s missing from the album) and TuneUp has identified that specific track under a different album (click the expand arrow next to the incorrect album to view the track), all you need to do is drag the individual song from the incorrect album, into the correct album, click save, and voila! A track that was once trapped in a prison of solitude is now happy to “Turn This Mother Out” with its albummates.
If you accidentally drop a song onto the wrong track (before saving), no biggie, just drag that track to where you want it or back to the original track. If you drag-and-drop onto the wrong track and have already saved, the Undo function will work as it normally does when cleaning tracks.
