Scott L. Kauffman, Chairman

Scott has more than twenty five years of senior executive and board leadership experience with both public and private companies. He is a widely recognized expert in the fields of digital entertainment, Internet media and consumer marketing. Most recently, Scott was the President & CEO, and a member of the board of Geeknet (NASDAQ:GKNT), the parent company of SourceForge, Slashdot and ThinkGeek. He joined Geeknet shortly after Yahoo! acquired BlueLithium, where he served as President & COO. Earlier in his career, Scott was the VP & General Manager of CompuServe, and spent seven years at Time Warner in a variety of executive positions including VP of Business Development for Time Warner Interactive, and as a member of the founding team of Entertainment Weekly magazine. Advertising Age named him one of twenty digital media masters in 1996, and one of the top 100 marketers in the country in 1992. Scott currently serves as a member of the board of MDC Partners and Coremetrics. Scott holds an BA in English from Vassar College and an MBA in marketing from New York University.

Gabe Adiv, Board Director, Founder & CEO, TuneUp Media

Music industry veteran, Gabe Adiv founded TuneUp Media in 2007. Prior to TuneUp, Gabe spent five years in sales and channel marketing at Gracenote, the industry leader in global metadata and enriched content solutions. Before joining Gracenote, Gabe spent his career in sales, marketing and business development, playing pivotal roles in several entrepreneurial ventures including WebTV and MyPersonal.com. Coupling his invaluable insight and experience from Gracenote with his undying enthusiasm for music, Gabe has guided TuneUp Media to Series C funding and exponential growth. As Founder & CEO of TuneUp Media, his involvement ranges from the acquisition of funding, to the oversight of marketing and business relationships, as well as overall product strategy and vision. His leadership, entrepreneurial drive, taste-making instincts and passion for music have paved the way for TuneUp’s growing success. During his time off, Gabe enjoys surfing, seeing live music, and spending time with his three-legged dog, Miles. Gabe has an interdisciplinary BA in Sociology, Business and Eastern Religion from Michigan State University.

Phil Sanderson, Board Director, Managing Director, IDG Ventures

Phil joined IDG Ventures in September 2006. He was previously a General Partner at WaldenVC for ten years, where he focused on early stage investments in new media and IT. Phil currently sits on the Board of Directors of Vivox, Telltale Games, Simply Hired, and i2we; and was responsible for investments in VitalStream, Bamboo.com, NIKU, Sina.com, Adknowledge, and People3 (IT). Prior to that, he worked as an investment banker in Robertson Stephens' New Media and Information Technology Groups where he managed IPOs and M&A assignments for CBT Systems, Computer Learning Centers, Electronic Arts, Fritz Integrated Logistics, and Spectrum HoloByte, among others. Earlier in his career he worked in Goldman Sachs' corporate finance group. Phil has also founded and operated three companies in the retail, non-profit, and manufacturing industries. He is also Co-Chairman/Founder of the VCNetwork and the YVCA; two non-profit organizations consisting of over 1,000 venture capitalists in Silicon Valley. Phil received his MBA from Harvard and his BA in Economics from Hamilton College, both with honors.

Vince Vannelli, Board Director, Founder & General Partner, KPG Ventures

Vince has more than twenty years operational, technology sales and business development experience, including key leadership positions at several global technology companies. From 1997 to 2000, he served as SVP and GM of the Network Products Division of Inktomi Corporation. Prior to that, Vince was responsible for all Inktomi sales as VP of Worldwide Field Operations. Vince spent the eight years before that at Hitachi Data Systems, where he held multiple positions, including SVP and GM of the United States. He directed Hitachi's sales channels, service, and field marketing departments, and was responsible for a $1.2 billion revenue base. Earlier in his career, Vince worked for IBM Corporation in various sales and marketing leadership roles throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Vince currently serves on the Board of Directors of Brightroll, Clipsync, Doppelganger, Rondavu (PartyBuzz), Sportgenic (formerly Active Athlete Media), and Webgang. Vince holds a BS and an MS in Industrial Engineering, both from Stanford University.
