@webstas -- Sorry, there are a bunch of issues listed above. Can you explain what in particular your problem is?

Help!! All I get is "Some tracks were not found in your iTunes collection." when I try to drag any tunes across.![]()
TuneUp gives that message if you have recently added a lot of music to iTunes and haven't relaunched iTunes or TuneUp. Note also that message will occur if your iTunes Music Library.xml (the file that iTunes uses to keep track of your music) is corrupt. You can recreate this by deleting that file, launching iTunes and pointing iTunes at your music ...

I'm having the exact same issue. I just installed TuneUP last night and it won't recognize any music files that I drag and drop. The message is the same "Some tracks were not found in your iTunes collection". It's quite frustrating, so I hope someone can help me fix the issue or get me a refund.
I've tried all of the suggestions above (remove organize files option, delete cleanup DB, etc).
I'm running iTunes 9.0.2.25 but I can't find the version of TuneUp (just bought it last night). Also, I'm running AVG 9.0.733.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same issue on my newly purchased and installed Tuneup. I was also having issues with far too many "red" saves. I tried a multitude of fixes suggested here and elsewhere, including various database fixes.
In the end the only thing that worked was to uninstall Tuneup then uninstall iTunes and reinstall them both. Obviously that created a new iTunes database.
Things are working much better now, although I am still getting far too many Tuneup crashes on my Vista machine.

I am having the same problems. "Re-syncing with your iTunes database..." and then "some tracks were not found in your iTunes collection."
I have Windows Ultimate 7. The latest iTunes and the latest Tune-up. I have done all the steps above and still no luck. Please help me.
I've faced with problem with TuneUp being unable to find any of newly added tracks when I'm dragging them to its window. I've used TuneUp for almost year now and it's really frustrating that 2 months before my annual fee about to expire the application isn't usable at all.
I've tried to reimport music (different artists, more than 100 songs), restart iTunes and TuneUp, even my laptop. Also I've tried to consolidate media library and move songs between external and local drive as well as reinstalling of TuneUp and cleaning up db files it creates. Nothing helps at all.
TuneUp successfully sees files added to library long ago but not new ones (1-2 days).
Regardless of actual reason I'd like to be able to expect TuneUp to actually _see_ songs as long as iTunes itself has no problems of playing them.
Dear Tuneup team,
unfortunately I seem to be having the same issues with wanting to clean the message "some tracks were not found in your itunes collection".
I just installed Tuneup Gold yesterday. Tuneup wouldn't clean at all. After having read through this very thread, I tried all possible solutions (renewing the Tuneup DB File, repointing iTunes to its XML Library file location, unchecking the "Keep iTunes Library organized" option and ended up reinstalling Itunes.
The only thing that worked was a clean Itunes re-install and fresh import of all my music into the library (thereby losing all secondary info such as rating and play count). It worked!
Now, Tuneup still won't clean any new files that I've added since then. This is driving me crazy. I don't want to un-/ reinstall iTunes again everytime I add new files to the library. (Also, I'm not satisfied at all with the quality of the search results - very disappointed with the quality of the Gracenote DB - but that's another issue).
I'd be VERY thankful for some help on how to proceed with first issue - any tips on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Fleur
