Default You need to get your great software on more media players!

Hello,

I have maybe 12 media players on my PC and the only one I use to handle my music is itunes. I hate itunes with a passion. It uses most of my computer resources, it's clunky, and it's exclusive to Mac mp3 players. After a horrible experience with AT&T's service, I am switching to Verizon and buying a motorola droid. I am, at the same time, switching from itunes to doubletwist music player to organize and synchronize my music. I am happy to say goodbye to AT&T and itunes but I will miss tuneup media. Have you guys ever thought of porting tuneup media to another media player, like for example doubletwist? Doubletwist works pretty much with every portable mp3 playing device in existence and it would greatly increase your consumer base. Well if you care to find out more, here's the website:

We are furiously at work at a version that supports Windows Media Player...and are always looking at the media player landscape to figure out which to support. Note that one of the requirements for TuneUp to be able to work is that the host media player have an Application Programming Interface (API) that supports modifying the track metadata.

To date, Doubletwist doesn't seem to have this as they are focused on supported devices more than plug-ins. Media Players with plug-in APIs that we've put on our (ever growing) development list are (in no apparent order): WinAmp, Songbird and MediaMonkey.

Regards, The TuneUp Team
